Following the drone attack on a US base by Iraqi resistance forces several days ago in Jordan, which killed three US soldiers, a series of strikes spanning several days have been authorised. The targets are located within Iraq and Syria. So far this year, the US has bombed Iraq, Syria, and Somalia.
