TikTok started blocking pro-Russian channels after a request from Ukraine’s Disinformation Council.
Russia Association of Professional Users of Social Media and Messenger has demanded that Russia’s version of the FCC kick TikTok out of the country because it is competing with “domestic platforms.โ
“This platform in Russia, to date, draws users away from domestic platforms.”
